Dear Friends, we no longer accept unsolicited manuscripts. We will notify you if that changes in the future.
We are a full-service Polish literary agency and we do everything to make our clients happy. Please note that we represent our authors on the Polish market.
If you want to publish a book or you’ve been keeping a manuscript in your drawer for a long time – contact us! Please note, however, that we only accept books that have already been published on your domestic market. In case of self-published titles, we look into titles that received more than 1500 reviews on goodreads.com.
We look for works of all genre (including accessible fantasy, reportage, history, religion, self-help, health, psychology, and biography) aimed at all age groups (children, teens, and adults). Please note that we only accept manuscripts in Polish and English. Other language versions will be automatically deleted.
Currently we are not accepting poetry, screenplays, or fantasy and sci-fi aimed at die-hard fans.
We accept only email queries and they must be sent to info@macadamialit.com
Please do not email the agents at their personal email addresses, emails sent to individual agents will be deleted without opening. Also, do not query via phone or social media.
Your submission should include (as separate .doc or .pdf files; please do not paste the below into the body of an email):
> for fiction
- a query letter (please be sure it includes genre and word count)
- a full manuscript
- a complete synopsis (1-2 pages long)
- a brief note on why the book has been written and who’s your target reader
- a short author bio
Word count for fiction titles (except for children’s books) cannot be fewer than 70,000.

Authors should contact us only after finishing their work – we do not review ideas.
Please do not send us more than one manuscript. Choose the one you consider your best, as we will not accept further manuscripts once your work has been rejected.
We promise to respond within 7 weeks. Please do not follow up or call. We guarantee the secrecy of correspondence and we delete manuscripts after reading them. We do not give editorial feedback, unless you are our client.
Our commission is taken from the author’s advance and royalty sales. We do not charge any “up-front” fees.
